Tumble Launch?
how exactly do you activate it?

Tumble Launching is Sprinting -> Jump and then Tumble. With the upgrades it just further boosts how far you launch yourself. (You can also look upwards to launch yourself higher.) It can be a great escape tool for longer hallways.

Personally I use it to become a "stunning" weapon for our runs "Strong man" who then batters the creature.

TLDR.
Sprint Jump Tumble is Tumble Launch
Good for distance! Bad for Stamina!
