Can anyone tell me what the drones do. I got a roll drone but don’t know what it does.

Feather drone gives the user higher jumps, recharger drone recharges the nearest energy use item to it, indestructible drone give the nearest object invulnerability (really useful for heavy transport items such as piano), the rest i havent had the chance to mess with yet

Roll drones allow you to roll around when you are in your little ball form

There's also the gravity drone which makes the object really light, so its easy to carry around. That drone works well with heavy objects.

Feather drone can also attach its beam to objects to make them lighter and easier to carry, or just yourself to jump higher.

ive had trouble attacj=hing it to other objects, it always attaches to me even when rotated, is there a different key for that?

You equip it, scroll wheel it away a bit and then hit the use button
