^^ like others said, theres a energy charging thing in the truck that you buy crystals for. by holding the weapon or equipment into the glowing box next to it you can recharge your tools

Did you ever find this out or not? Me and a friend tried it while between areas but it didn't work. We are gonna try when we are at the shop or it may not have enough charge.
