Hi Scheherazade sorry for a late responce to the question i hope this info finds you well.
To join someone else on a Steam Deck, you'll primarily use Steam's Remote Play Together feature. This allows you to play games with friends even if they're not physically in the same location as you.
Here's how to do it:
Ensure your friend is logged into Steam: They need to be logged in to a supported device.
Open your Steam Overlay: In your game, press Shift+Tab to open the Steam Overlay.
Find your friend on the friends list: Locate your friend's profile in the overlay.
Right-click and select "Remote Play Together": A window will appear, and you can choose to invite them to join the game with you.
They need to accept the invite: Once they accept, they will be able to play the game with you on your Steam Deck.
