Playtime: 2.4 hours | Recommended? Yes, absolutely.

So, picture this: You’re a wobbly little robot, hired by a shady company to break into cursed buildings and steal printers, fax machines, and haunted microwaves. Sounds dumb? It is. And it’s awesome.
What Even Is This Game?

REPO is what happens when you mix corporate satire, co-op horror, and physics-based chaos. It’s like if Lethal Company, Phasmophobia, and Human: Fall Flat had a weird love child that also owed a lot of money to HR. You get dropped into these spooky, procedurally generated buildings where your job is to “recover” (read: steal) high-value objects and bring them back to the ship. Simple, right?

Wrong. Everything goes to hell immediately.

Because:

• You can't carry anything without it flopping around like a wet noodle.

• Your teammates are either heroes or liabilities (usually both).

• The monsters don’t like you messing with their haunted IKEA furniture.

• And someone always forgets to close the door.

Multiplayer Mayhem

This game is hilarious with friends. The jank is part of the charm. I’ve seen a teammate get dragged across a hallway by a ghost while screaming over comms, another fall down an elevator shaft with a priceless TV, and someone else try to sneak past a monster while carrying a fax machine the size of a sofa. We failed the mission. I’ve never laughed harder.

No public matchmaking yet though—gotta invite friends manually. Hopefully they fix that soon, because this game deserves a big player base.
Solo Mode? Surprisingly Good.

I expected the solo mode to ♥♥♥♥. It doesn’t. You can totally sneak around on your own, run missions, and even revive yourself. It’s a different kind of tense—you get really attached to your loot, only to lose it all when you misjudge a jump while holding a $2,000 haunted air fryer.
Progression & Tools

You earn money ("SURPLUS") for every mission and can use it to upgrade your tools, body, or buy cosmetics. There’s a weird little story behind it too—your boss is some disembodied voice and it gets just creepy enough to keep things interesting.

Right now, there aren’t a ton of maps or tools, but the core loop is so fun that I don’t even care. And the devs are super active—they're constantly patching bugs and teasing new content.
Bugs? Yes. Game-breaking? Nah.

Yes, it’s Early Access. Yes, you will clip through a couch. No, it’s not a problem. Most bugs are funny more than frustrating. The biggest issue right now is content variety, but if you’re just here for laughs and chaos, there’s already plenty to enjoy.
TL;DR:

R.E.P.O is dumb, spooky, and way more fun than it has any right to be. The jank is intentional, the horror is atmospheric without being obnoxious, and the physics make every mission a gamble between "success" and "tragic comedy." If you’ve got friends and a love for absurdity, this game is a no-brainer.
