As for keybinds and so called "missing" chat. It's basically a console port, because consoles don't have chat, so they ported E&E edition from consoles over to PC, added keybinds similar to Legacy and called it a day. It's even internally called "gen9" in the files (Updates.cfl for reference), which we all know is NOT PC, it's PS5 and Xbox Series S/X.
There is a workaround to port your keybinds from Legacy using settings.xml (or other file), but I have no idea, how to do that and I don't even care, since I'm using controller. Just ask around, someone has to know the process.
BTW, in the aforementioned Updates.cfl file is a note, that "textchat will be added soon". How soon? Hard to say, but yea, apparently R* is working on adding it.
The new game SIMPLY WONT START..Lucky u..it's sound
It is, Rockstar Support told me in a ticket:
"We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the sound quality.
At this time, there is no in-game option to switch audio output methods like in the Legacy version. You may try to change your headphone settings to stereo mode in Windows to help resolve the issue.
If you need any further assistance, feel free to let us know.
Best regards,
Crissa G. Rockstar Support"
Enhanced version doesn't have the same audio output options as Legacy, I have to externally change my computer audio settings (which by the way still doesn't work and GTA continues to sound like ass). This was blatanly a rushed port from console, they didn't test it's functionality and compatibily enough, many people got these audio issues.
And enhanced is based on Ps5, and what the hell they call newest xbox now, so its OPTIMIZED for hard drives not 20 years old tech wise. Its insane but I see this all the time on steam "why load so bad! What? My 2 terabytes from 2012 are no good now, you crazy. I just spent 800 bucks on GPU. You tell me I've got to spend more than 65 bucks on hard drive now!"
Serriously if you are struggling with this GTA 6 is gonna make you way more mad as this is just upgraded old ass game so they change some things but kind of limited, like biggest change I say with this tech wise is its made for SSDs now GOOD SSDs. Not discount bin ones that are like 400-500 read write barely 2 times as fast as your 2012 hard drive. Talking M203s where its 2000-5000 mb read write speed.
So my issue was solved by following your advice, i copied the old setup to the new config folder and I could use my old keybinds.
In The meantime, I read on the Official Discord that Rockstar fixed the T Keybind that was being used for no reason and that was exactly my issue since I use TFGH instead of WASD to move.

I understand your point and that's why I use Samsung 970 Evo plus 2tb nvme ssd for all the games I play online. I'm just telling you the loading time was more than unusual when I play the first week enhanced was available. My machine is more than okay to run GTA Online, trust me.
