Text chat is a very necessary thing in online games, there are a lot of players now, how do we communicate?

Or just use voice chat like everybody else.

And how many of them are on Discord at the same time? Can you send me a copy from your app that tells you what their machines are running at the same time as the game? You know there are MULTIPLE voice chat options as a PC player right? Like the most plebian one ever is in the game. I haven't used an in-game voice chat in almost 10 years...

You cannot voice chat anybody in a public server over discord. You would need a prior agreement to do that.

Edit: I just asked everybody in the lobby if they were using discord. I asked them over mic. 27 people now. No responses. Why could that be?

That is point you don't need to voice the strangers you can go anywhwere like Reddit and add people and join discord and play with them. I haven't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ talked to randoms in public lobby in over a DECADE lol.

And again how do you know that 15 of them are not on discord right now talking to each other in groups of 2-5? How do you know no one is talking because they ignored you? Jesus I always IGNORED in game chat since freaking legacy with that logic my chat must never worked lol.

Serriously chat in this game 2/3 time is CANCER its toxic. Its why most are glad its gone. I be in match having fun with my pals on 3rd party voip come out, explosions everywhere, and some greifers licking up tears of people screaming in all caps in chat, or some idiots talking out their ass in local voice chat, its like the hell man, this lobby was so chill 20 minutes ago alright find a new lobby time...

Like most the vets from legacy remember when legacy chat was toxic ♥♥♥♥ show lol.

Well I know because I asked them! I'm sorry this is hard to grasp. Other people want to talk to people. The people in the game. It doesn't matter we don't 'know' them because we don't know the people on Discord, either. Some of us don't have mics. Some of us don't want to use mics. Some of us don't have Discord.

Also I know because I understand inferential statistics on a professional level. That's basically why I provided samples every time I made a statement I was just keeping it simple for you while also actually doing something to back up my opinion. You could always show me a lively public lobby that really does exist with a lot of people talking in the background on discord. I don't know how you'd go around proving that exists, but...

I do know how to prove my quiet lobbies with people unwilling to establish discord connections exist tho. I can do that all day.

online game unplayable without a chat and communication, almost nobody using voice even now without a text chat. No clue what was the idea to turn off the chat feature at all?
