Chop's Happiness

So I remember the iFruit app we used to have to diddle with to be able to change Chop's collar and train him up, per the dialogue in the early story mission where you kidnap a Balla. Thing is, that app was shut down in 2022, but the functionality for it was never removed from the game, so I literally can't do anything with Chop as Franklin other than throw a ball and MAYBE have him hunt down pickups, but that's not even the point of the interaction options with Chop. Anyone find a workaround for this or is Chop just permanently disobedient?

You could have him do tricks like sit, beg, etc. His happiness also affects how effective he is at finding pickups. Thing is, without the iFruit app, he's stuck at minimum happiness unless you go out of your way to waste hours throwing a ball for him or hunting down a frisbee in a park, but then there's no way to actually *reward* him.
