Rockstar solved this once and for all. However they also require a more recent nvidia driver now, starting from 572.60.

I am on 572.42 and I received the error message, but the game seemed to be working fine. However it might be best to update, I don't know how the game will behave in other conditions.

My recommendation is to stick either with 572.60 or 572.65, the reason being that 572.70 caused BSOD on my and other systems.

I remember that the 572.60 had a problem with the monitor not waking up from sleep while using display port, which was then "refixed" on 572.65. So pick one of these two best on what works best. But you should avoid the latest one.

Yes, but I haven't tested this and NVIDIA as usual only mentions the latest cards for improvements. Also keep in mind that it doesn't show up in the app so most people don't know about hotfix drivers.

Still getting obvious microstutter/frame drops of 5-15FPS pretty frequently but I guess they aren't as bad

i had such poor performance before i rolled back to this driver no way im switching til i 100% have to. like bad fps in all games w/the previous latest driver

Mate, GTA V ENHANCED is paired with GTA V Lecacy. It's one and the same profile in Nvidia Inspector...

I posted this elsewhere, but I found the best fix for stutter using DLSS is to limit the frame rate in game to 120fps. With my 5090, if I don't do that, there's so much stutter it's insane, and gives me a headache. Setting the limit to 120fps solves it completely.

Yep, 75 is just a hotfix for 70.

How? They use different named executables and I uninstalled legacy anyways so neither show up in the nvidia app
