Controls?

I'll preface this by stating that this is subjective and not necessarily good or bad, but I'm really having trouble getting into this due to the controls.

I've downloaded this with the intention of giving GTA5 another try, but I could barely get Franklin back to Simeon's with the repo car before quitting out.

Are there settings I'm missing or a patch or something that can make this feel more responsive and less like I'm drunk-driving an overloaded van with bald tyres in the rain while on ketamine?

It looks great (aside from the stutter) but I just can't deal with the controls.
Had a similar issue with RDR2, I just can't deal with how it feels to play.

I've already spent the money, and I don't want to miss out on something good; any suggestions?

I mean if you driving with keyboard its always gonna feel that way. They kind built more for controller I use xbox controller to drive and fly, and mouse and keyboard to shoot on foot to be honest...
