It's just as easy for people like you to do "one simple press of a button" and enable voice chat if you want that crap. I do not want to have to mute hundreds of people that don't even know they are broadcasting.
You can claim it would 'solve' communications all you want. I'm saying it would introduce just as many problems with people who have no idea they are unintentionally broadcasting. DO. NOT. WANT.
it's
OPTIONAL
like SPOILER ALERT, already is for you.
Text chat is 10000x better than voice chat.
Come back when you have an actual argument.
Done further discussing here.
"If everyone around you is the problem, maybe you're the problem"
It's funny how you think everyone who disagrees you with must be a Rockstar employee wannabee. We're voicing our opinions, same as you. You don't get to whine about a setting and then be surprised when other people like the setting the way it is.
I like voice chat with my friends. I don't like voice chat in a lobby where half the people who already enabled it forgot they had, and a good chunk of the others are doing nothing but ****talking and trolling. It would be even worse if the entire lobby were broadcasting by mistake. I'm sorry you don't understand this. Many people in those lobbies you are joining are well aware voice chat exists.
We just don't want to use it and have intentionally left it off.
There's a good chance most of the players on the servers you are joining feel the same way, too. Most games these days have voice chat. Many of us just don't want to use it in public lobbies and listen to the air horns and other BS.
I'm sorry this concept is so hard for you to understand.
Literally nothing would change for you if they put it on by default, the setting to turn it off for you will still be there. You're arguing and disagreeing just to do so to the point that it's just blatantly trolling.
I want to communicate with people. Maybe you're a socially inept, but I'm not.
