Why did they remove the ingame chat?
So they removed the ingame chat? Why? What is the reason for that? Does this mean the next GTA will not have ingame chat either? What a terrible move by Rockstar.

I still cant tell the difference between the normal version and enhanced apart from it being 15gbs less

Framerate is also worse on the newer one. And the audio is scuffed.

not true, it uses the same engine as rdo if you look at the loading bar when it 1st opens

Ultimately, it's time to embrace third party middleware like Discord if you want to communicate in heists. Various online safety type acts are going up around the world which impose strenuous conditions on media publishers to moderate the chat. And the Legacy chat did need moderation: it was filled with nazis and other kind of scum. I don't mean 'person I disagree with' or 'person with conservative politics', as the word is so often deployed these days - I mean full-on 14 words swastika spammers. And bots.

I expect chat to go from Legacy too at some point in the next year.

Also in EU it sucked anyway because there's so many different languages. There is no point in having communication if the person you are communicating with doesn't speak your language, if there is no auto translate feature (which is expensive).

Also if you're having performance problems in Enhanced then you need to update your drivers. Nvidia put out a new set of drivers that increased FPS hugely for me. I don't know about AMD but I know they were having issues with it, I don't know if they released a new version yet

it does, everyone knows you get more performance on minimum as theres no point in visuals in this day and age, we all want performance not quality, so ignoring your trolling

It is a console port despite the loading bar. What engine do you think the console versions run on? They aren't different, it's all R*'s RAGE engine. Why do you think text chat "was removed" from enhanced, while it works on Legacy still? Why not removing it from there as well? Dataminers found out, that there are lines in the code saying something about "the text chat not being implemented and that it will be coming soon". Why wording it like that, if they removed it on purpose by upgrading the older version? Doesn't make sense. It is a console port, loading bar doesn't change anything. Lots of PC games and console games both have loading bars when launching.

not true, it has keybindings for pc console dont have keys xD
