How to fix this error? I accidentally changed by graphics from GeForce to intel uhd but I cannot restart the game now to change it back, my game wont start, whenever i tried starting it, it shows err_gfx_state

same question , happened before i update the intel Xe graphic. I delete the update and redownload the GTA cant solve.

Turn off/down all your graphics settings until you get past the part causing your game to crash and then switch everything back afterwards. Worked for me.

I managed to play story mode and complete the prologue, the crashing happened when I launched Online the first time after completing prologue, but after I launched the online again, it didn't crash anymore.

Same issue, seems to happen at Ammunation. Or just after specific explosions.

lowering the graphics worked for me. But, when I tried to change the reflection to high, the error appears again.

That's super bizarre. I'm almost certain RDR2 had the same issue at one point.

I played it for literally 23 hours on the highest settings, on very high RT. Before this issue started to happen.

Everything is updated, it makes zero sense.

I would just delete everything in

C:\Users\yourself\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTAV Enhanced

like the settings folder, and then restart the game..
