GTA5 Enhanced -- Issues, No HDR, Low resolution texture, small tips etc..
+ For some reason, Rockstar didn't include HDR support in the PC version of GTA 5 enhanced even though it's available on PS5, they removed it and i don't know why, this is a stange decision considering most modern PC games support HDR and the actual hardware is more capable of handling it.

Please add the HDR Support on PC. thank you.

+ Cutscene suttering still not fixed
+ Huge performance drop whenever you look up while underwater even on high-end PC and i don't know what causing it. This wasn't an issue in the legacy version.

+ Some texture actually look worse, certain clothing items in particular appear incredibly low resolution, same for certain wall, road vegetation etc.. almost as if they were pulled straight from the PS3 era this might help explain why the game size is now around 23 GB smaller than the legacy version.
Rockstar probably improved file compression but the legacy texture look better.
This is not the PS5 port but probably the PS3 or PS4 version with RT and DLSS added.

+ Rockstar completly removed text chat from GTA Online Enhanced PC and added voice chat moderation ..why ??? Lobby feel way more empty and lifeless with no more random messages popping up, it feels stragely disconnected.

+ Dataminers found 2 noise texture in the enhanced versions files which appear to be related to RDR2's volumetric advanced cloud technology.
Is Rockstar experimented with RDR2 cloud system in GTA 5 enhanced version and are they still working on it for a future update?

+ RT reflection doesn't look great even on high-end PC with DLAA or native.
Reflection appear grainy and muddy from many angles and some cars doesn't have reflection at all in certain cutscene.

Small tips

Better lightning with RT

Be aware, turning this on causes a noticeable FPS drop and in some cases the effect glitches out making it clear that it's no working as intended that's why Rockstar left it hidden.

Enabling this adds an extra bounce of indirect lightning to ray tracing making the game's lightning look a bit brither and more realistic.

Go to Documents/Rockstar Games/GTAV Enhanced/settings.xml
There is a hidden option called : <RTIndirectDiffuse_SecondBounce_Enabled value="false" />

Replace false by true

Chances are that the cloud files in GTA5 are actually the tests for RDR2, before it came out

Yes, plus, the game stutters in general. Let's get comfy, we have 3 more months to wait.
I'd also like to see native HDR but have been using auto HDR and it's not bad

How is auto HDR working for you?

How did you manage to enable auto HDR? It worked on the legacy one, if I remember correctly, but it doesn't work on the Enhanced edition.

I don't think he is actually using auto HDR. He is probably using RTX HDR and confused the two. The game is currently not even recognized as a graphics application in windows.
