FPS dropping

My hardware can handle gta v enhanced but its dropping fps even tho drivers are up to date and graphics u to normal. Playing with amd ryzen 5 with vega 8 graphics.
ANY IDEAS HOW TO FIX IT?

I lose like 35 fps when i go underwater, with and without RT enabled. So something is clearly wrong.

That's because the GTX 1050 has 2GB of VRAM, not 4GB which is required

Okay but when i select to play with AMD vram is okay but drops fps so what is the problem there?

That's because the vega 8 graphics uses you System Ram which would be higher than 4GB but is slow compared to Vram

Buying a suitable GPU is your only fix unfortunately

U sure? cz i had the same with gta 5 legacy but somehow fixed it and i have seen a lot of ppl having fps drops

You don't meet the minimum requirements for the Enhanced version which are different to the Legacy version

Graphic settings do not display reality, I moved from Legacy and Vram In red 2x Time More. Im play om same settings with +FPS. Its just optimization problems.
Minimum requirement IS requirement not mandatory.

Im having same problem 15Fps insane drops to 2fps while using I7 14700K and 3080 all usage on gpu and cpu are really low (20% GPU 7% Cpu) any ideas? im using ULTRA RT setings

I also realised that i get stable 140fps on RT High while standing still or running but as soon as i start to drive car fast Drop to 20fps (Cpu Gpu usage drops) apears that lasts untill i stop and wait 10 sec game installed in SSD M2 Hyper so i dont think thats the loading problem

NWM guys i found the Fix it turns out there nvidia update for GTA V Enchanted ray tracing now everything works great for most part

NOT SURE if it's fixed as it's a bit INTERMITTENT but I would get massive FPS drops (RTX4070) if I changed graphics settings.

For example, I changed a setting (tried different ones) and ran around a deserted parking lot. Suddenly dropped from 100FPS to 60FPS. EXITED the game completely and when I went back in it seemed stable (though lots of tiny STUTTERS).

I don't have time to test further, but I suspect there's going to be patches for a while.

"nvidia update" you mean the new driver released on the 5th of march ?

Yes that one it helped me to fix the problem i used to get 15-50fps with insane drops while having 30% gpu usage at all setings. After update 140 stable with high RT also usage is now 99% so its fixed for me
