Reinstalled, tried everything here - still crashes, same spot. I appreciate it though, thank you!
1. Restart the Game and PC
Close GTA V completely.
Restart your PC and relaunch the game.
2. Disable Overclocking (if applicable)
If you've overclocked your GPU (using MSI Afterburner, etc.), reset it to default.
3. Update Your Graphics Drivers
If using NVIDIA: Update via GeForce Experience.
If using AMD: Update via AMD Radeon Software.
However, some people have also reported the problem was fixed when they rolled back to the previous GPU Driver version.
4. Verify Game Files (Steam or Epic Games)
5. lower reflections from high to normal
6. Turn off RTX (Raytracing)
The game did randomly crash within 5-45 minutes of playing online. Since I am running AMD RYZEN 9800 X3D + EXPO MEM DDR 5 @ 8GHZ I realized this could be an issue.
Since I disabled EXPO MEM in BIOS the game does not crash anymore. The same MEM issue was a problem in RDR2 back in the days.
I did test couple of hours and no more crashes with all GFX on RT ULTRA or VERY HIGH !!
ONLY POINT 6 IS USEFULL !!! The game itself crashes onto the RTX settings. The same ♥♥♥♥ was in RDR2 back in the days ;)
I did fix this errror by DISABLING EXPO MEM IN BIOS ! <<== AMD USERS
DISABLE EXPO MEM IN BIOS ! When you have AMD board ;)
It is a little bit of a trick, but the best method is to use DDU(Display Driver Uninstaller) in safe mode to clear the driver completely, then restart, disable the internet for that PC and install the older version that you want.
seems you have bigger issues if your doing that
