'Mr Philips' Pushing Ortega into the river bug

Once I push Ortega's home down, instead of a cutscene or anything proper, the game bugs out as Trevor and Ron step out of the car and freeze, unable to move, interact with weapon wheel, or do what's so ever. As I tab-out the game crashes as I return, making it impossible to finish the mission.

Anyone else encountered this issue prior? Perhaps this is exclusively 'Enhanced' edition bug as I never got it in the Legacy.

Please suggest a fix if you've got one! Thanks!

The game is stuttering so much already that people are mostly focused on that right now. But it would not surprise me if missions were broken as well.

LMAO i encounter this bug yesterday and still didn't find any solution in the internet too, it was never there on the legacy version.
This is very sad, i cannot continue further storyline and forced to play online.

I'm having the same issue too. Apparently there's a fix according to a random Reddit comment.

- Enable fullscreen
- 60 Hz
- Turn off raytracing, DLSS, NVIDIA Reflex
- Don't push the trailer into the river as fast

IDK if it works, I haven't tried it yet.

I do not know if you have to do 60fps specifically
But the game does have known issues if you run it over something like 120fps
and those existed in legacy too, but in enhanced they given the ability to let the fps go nuts

The above is definitely worth a shot.

I got around the bug by going to the map and setting a waypoint. They need to fix this lol

I compleated the mission, and i now what your talking about. First encounter was the first time i played the 'Mr Philips' mission I froze for a short time but then it by itself unfroze, but im trying to get all the golden medals, and I am replaying mission and everytime it bugs after Trevor gets out the car after pushing out the Ortegas trailer in the river. Cutsceene dosnt play and im just stuck, dont know what is the problem with this. I have this bug in Enhanced version. In my 1200+ hours in legacy, I never had this bug, so I suppose rockstar messed something up in Enhanced version and its really just for the enhanced version. Hopefully we will get the fix, but right now I willbe continuing other missions and leaving 'Mr Philips' with a silver medal.

Hey guys !
I managed to complete the mission after disabling DLSS and setting the graphics to the minimum.
Just to be sure, after reading your comments, I took my time to push Ortega's caravan with the car, and the cutscene triggered, allowing me to move on to the next mission :D

just let it sit for about 30-60s and it should go through without any settings being changed. it just worked for me on the ROG Ally Z1 Extreme.
