failed to join an invite only session/ friend session

basically every time I accept my friend's invite, the game shows "failed to join" message... same thing happened to them as well, they can't join me either

Did this eventually come right? I'm having the issue that I can send invites to my friends/crew but they don't receive the invite and vice versa, so we also cant join any session together

I have NO IDEA, if they don't receive invites... do this old trick, launch the game through rockstar games launcher, not steam nor the exe, only from the launcher, and load into story mode first, then go to online, if none worked, good ol restart both for your router and pc, and verifying game files through steam might work
