For some missions, yes, but not all.

If you go to Online in the menu then start an invite only session, you can play online solo, unless you invite friends to the session of course.

Im pretty sure some of the heist's cant be done solo, friggin rockstar.

Yes you can do almost the game solo in invite session!

Yeah most can be done solo. It's a lot harder solo and I think the casino heist is impossible to do solo due to it requiring 2 people to swipe the cards to open the vault. But aside from that just about everything else can be done solo now. You might struggle to sell a full bunker of guns solo depending on the delivery method they give you to work with though. Same with the MC businesses as well but everything else is usually simple, nightclub always has you drive a single vehicle for sales.

Only thing it told me no on in INV mode is MC missions everything else so far has worked lots of gun running
