i cant even launch the game

I've been getting something similar, it exits immediately after about a second of the R* logo. A couple of times it has worked, but most of the time it bombs out.

But... I have a possible observation. I have an XBox controller connected by Bluetooth - the last two times it launched correctly, the controller was *off* when the game started, and I could then turn it on and use it. I'm almost certain that every time it failed, the controller was on.

It could be a coincidence, but it could also be a ritual I have to do every time I start the game because I've convinced myself it's a fix.

hello i had the same issue i sat 90 minutes trying to fix it i had to

1. put pc grafics settings in the settings app for gtav enhanced to high performance
2. restart my pc
3. run as administrator

then it works fine now without running it as administrator for me.
