nvidia driver 572.70
so it says this is the optimised driver for gta enhanced, but the app tells me that the programme doesn't support optimisation, even with a clean reinstall of app / driver. is it the same for everyone?

Yes, similarly

Optimization comes from Nvidia APP not the driver, you have to wait for app update

These are two different things. The driver has specific code that makes the game run better, solves bugs etc. The app optimisations is basically nvidia’s recommended settings, which frankly aren’t great anyway.

yeah, but i can't apply that latest DLSs / FG thorough the app like I can with other titles using older DLSS, like GTA-e.

Wait for Nvidia to add the GTA 5 Enhanced profile, this new WHQL update only optimises the game

I haven't updated my graphics driver in somewhere between 10 months to 2 years, and I haven't had a single issue with any game in a long time. Funny thing now days is, Nvidia drivers suck more and more these days.
thx i update it for the black screen issue in the certain monitor :)
I didn't update my drivers and just switched to dlss4 with dlss swapper. Game looks and runs better than ever for me even on a laptop with rtx 4050, though I disabled ray tracing cause it caused ghosting around character models.
DLSS (quality) seems to really help with aliasing, it's only on the minimap and everything else looks good

changing the dll in online mode wouldn't result in a ban?
It might, I don't play online (didn't even transfer a save file for which you apparently need to go online)
