I've watched the comparison videos, it looks like it's just Ray Tracing with some minor downgrades game-play wise. Why not upgrade the textures, models etc... Seems pretty pointless.

Gotta agree with the frame rate comments, Not nearly as much stuttering running an older card. (5600xt) and load times are near nothing for me personally now. still occasionally get the void thing going into or coming out of casino though.

The game had FXAA and a barely functioning MSAA before so depends how you look at it.

It looks much better with DLSS for me, the aliasing used to be really annoying and now it looks sharp even in motion (except minimap)

I switched to DLSS4 with dlss swapper tho

Lol im pretty sure all the textures had to be updated to properly handle the new lighting. This is one of the biggest tings you see with the nvidia RTX mods,you have to go through and update all the textures.

I see a pretty big difference, but I admit its not as good as I thought it would be. One of the biggest things bugging me right now is car mirrors. It's 2025, wtf arent raytraced car mirrors a thing lmao. I can kinda understand not turning it on for all the vehicles, but we cant afford the few cycles to render the car mirrors. Come on.

Its not gone .
Go to old version into single player , Escape / Game / Upload saved file (or something like that ) . Choose one of the most important save .
Close game .
Open new version , same ,single player , Escape / Game / Upload saved file - it will be transfered to new version .
Battle Eye - uninstall if you wont go online .

I have 4k OLED and a high-end GPU. I definitely see the difference.

I think that to really notice the difference you need to be on a higher resolution than a 22" 1080p panel. I can tell the difference especially with the dlss on a 55" 4k 120hz tv.

I have a 4090-9800X3D, I'd say it's pretty good. Getting a 5090 once I can actually find one in stock.

Not worth it tho, wait for 6000 series, i will.
4070 ti super with 9800x3d more than enuf for skipping one gen.
