FAQ: I cannot transfer my GTA online save/character

I noticed a lot of people getting this similar issue so I figured I'd make this post to hopefully help a ton of confused people.

If your online save isn't showing up as an option to migrate into the enhanced edition I found that the way to resolve this is to make sure you have GTA V legacy downloaded and boot up the online at least once before going to the enhanced version. I do believe it might have to do with either maybe the save isn't on your system and can't be found or the server can't find the save due to inactivity. Regardless, this is what worked for me and my save appeared and ready to migrate after doing exactly this.

Also I do believe you absolutely NEED the same account to transfer the save. At least, that's what I've heard from others.
