why did they replace og version with enhanced? while in gamepass have both legacy and enhanced?

You also have legacy gta5 on steam. For new players - if they buy enhanced, they also get legacy, CESP, and all that. At least, what is what is stated on the steam page.

edit - And because 'having legacy on steam' wasn't clear. Yes, that means you can currently install it, and play legacy. -.-;;

For now, but then they said the same thing about vice city and san aandreas. "Anyone who bought it before X date won't have any of the cuts" which they then went back on and gave us all the cut versions. This is rockstar, have you met them before?

'For now' is a different argument. The op stated 'replace og version'. It currently is not. The 'og version' is still actually ''there' and simply not purchasable.

I wasn't asked to give my -opinion- on 'the future'. I fully expect it to be removed. Just like I fully expect migration to be removed too (just to spite 'me' for not migrating)- yet another detour in topic. I am fully aware of 'this is R*' and what that means.

They didn't, Legacy and Enhanced are separate installs. You can have both.

It doesn't work for anyone is my guess - certainly not here. As I said underneath of it.... Click quote - and look at the quoted text (which opens here in a web browser). Or, go to steam library, find Gta5 Legacy, and click the store page - which also properly opens here.

It like with some older titles when they got their updated/remastered/enhanced version (Sleeping Dogs, Dead Island), there are separate versions with the new one still in the store.
