So I decided to hop on and make some cash when all of a sudden a flock of around 10 Fighter jets spawned in the middle of the city and started Locking onto everyone including me. I went safe mode and yet the missile killed me so yes that was not a player it was spawned by a AHle hacker. says much about GTA 6. Has anyone else encountered any hackers in your enhanced version lobbies?

Hopefully rockstar learned something and gta 6 will have more things happening on the sever side, but then again prolly not, they prolly didnt do that in the first place to save a little bit of money on bandwith.

There's hope, that GTA 6 will have proper servers like any normal multiplayer game should have in the first place, not this P2P nonsense. At least that's what I've noticed on a YT video thumbnail. Note, that I haven't watched the video itself, so not sure, if it's confirmed, or not. But we can hope, can't we?

No. I haven't played with randoms since the first time Online. People basically ask to be griefed in Public Session.

I like when people defend playing with randoms by saying "what's the point of a multiplayer game, if you play solo?". Invite Only DOESN'T have to be SOLO. All it needs is a few kindred souls, you invite them into your session and play together. No need to join the public mayhem at all.

Agree. GTAO/RDO have horrible anti-cheat, and it's bad enough that hackers can screw with other people's accounts and get them banned. At least GTAO has the option to play in private lobbies so you can invite people who you trust. It's one of the very few elements of console gaming that has an edge over PC gaming - the secure environment of the console ecosystem vs that of PC. Otherwise, PC gaming takes the cake for every other reason.

Free to play games online. Non-restricted access to your saves. Free cloud saving (Steam). Mods for supported games. Access to additional apps like Discord, multiple monitor support, K*M+gamepad+other peripherals, most games will have access to higher framerates than console versions of games, etc.

as long p2p is standart its like a gamble. most of the time it's okay. sometimes it feels like a waste of playtime. always depends on the people in the lobby.

I have seen exactly one obvious cheater so far in gta enhanced. Out of almost 200 hours, a large majority of which was on open lobbies.

The one cheater I did see was flying around in a fire truck. I destroyed the fire truck but the player was invincible. Went to a new lobby and he followed me.

So yeah that did suck. But still not as bad as the old "drop cages on everyone in the lobby and trigger explosions remotely" thing people used to do in Legacy in almost every session.

Hackers like this are still in the game but I cant play because "Battle Eye doesn't support Linux" tell that to War Thunder, DayZ, ARK

Rdo not have same anti cheat like gta online now. And better have anti cheat than nothing like in the past. About servers certain games have it and still have the cheater.

Of course the server dedicated is better for fast loading.

Some cheaters can enter a Public Session, but only for a limited time. Disabling BE allows them to join a session, but other players with BE enabled will eventually kick them from the session

ive ran into atleast 20 plus hackers this month weather its teleporting you around the map or blowing you up i seen somone launching cars with a gun and a guy teleporting around in a plane that the wings and tale were missing from the plane so only the cab flying around with guns lol i seen people using god mode 5 plus times nothing too crazy i got kill farmed with a whole lobby and everyone died on respawn for 15mins until the hacker crashed the lobby. i report them everytime it happens but noone ever gets banned sadly so if you are wondering



yes gta 5 enhanced has modders its harder to come across but they exist and alot more common then you think.
