Nintendo is charging 90 dollars(80 for the digital version) for Mario Kart World. You know the rest of the gaming world is rubbing their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ chins now.

Not really. Why do games cost the same now as they did 50 years ago, that's the real question. I can buy a burger for cheaper than most video games.

I will vote with my wallet and pre-order Physical Deluxe Edition, just like my wife's boyfriend pre-ordered me a copy of Mario Kart World.
nope not buying it. I've waited 10 years after the release of GTA 5, ill wait for another 10 after release of GTA 6.
I'll wait for that 75% discount of 100 dollars. 😃
I am going to wait either way. While i want to play the SP for sure. I am not going to partake in a system that constantly spams advertisements to join GTA+. I dont want to look at +'s on the map. Also these console menu's are a garbage step backwards.
100 is nothing. I think I buy new comp for GTA6.

there is a bazillion of free to play games available so it is just up to you if you want to be that guy who played betatester on release day, everyone knows how these games perform straight after release, ok on consoles it is sometimes slightly better but on pc....

once upon time these betatester got payed to fix the mess, but hey lets outsource the costs to the customer, same thing as with the servers, you don't need dedicated servers, just let players host to save costs and charge them extra for that fancy multiplayer service. That are these genuis moves that deserve a fat bonus for the ceo, while the customer can enjoy forever black screen in the average public lobby, so buy some friends for best game experience.

mario kart tour from nintendo is for example for free to install over there in the google play store XD so they competing with themself
and what was the last big innovation in these kart games the blue turtle shell 10 years ago

btw that is already one trick of many developers they simply port mobile games to steam so they can charge a tiny amount for them, while the exact same game is for free available over there on google play

nintendo also had always the weakest hardware and antipiracy protection
i can remember playing one of these zelda games 2 weeks before release

upps looks like its a standard over there at nintendo

the rich kids bought the normal games and the poor kids went to a repair shop and bought modchip until software jailbrake made even these chips obsolete

10 years later relies even the big developer on these evil pirate hackers simply out of laziness and cost efficiency

Its always best to wait at least a year after a games release date; its in this time that they are clearing out all the bugs and exploits they likely missed. Same applies to game systems.
