GTA Online Progress Missing After Installing Enhanced Version on PC – Migration Error

Hey everyone, I need some help!

I was playing GTA Online on the Legacy version (PC) and had a well-progressed account with a lot of money, vehicles, properties, and rank. Recently, I installed the GTA V Enhanced version (1.7) and uninstalled the Legacy version.

When I launched GTA Online in the Enhanced version, I saw an option to migrate my GTA Online profile, but when I tried, I got this error:

"The GTA Online profile is not eligible for migration at this time."

Now, instead of my old character, the game is asking me to create a new character, and I can't access my old progress.

Things I Have Tried:
I made sure that I'm logged into the same Rockstar Social Club account that I used in the Legacy version.

I restarted the game and my PC multiple times.

I checked my Social Club account online, and it still shows my GTA Online progress.

I tried clearing the Rockstar Launcher cache.

What I Need Help With:
Do PC players actually need to migrate their GTA Online account to the Enhanced version?

If migration isn’t needed on PC, why am I seeing the migration option and then getting this error?

How can I get my old character and progress back in the Enhanced version?

I’ve already contacted Rockstar Support, but I wanted to see if anyone here has had the same issue and found a solution. Any help would be appreciated!
