Actively grinding for money on GTA Online should be considered a form of torture.

Rockstar loves making missions/mechanics that are specifically designed to annoy you in little ways so that you buy Shark Cards to avoid them. None of these missions are engaging whatsoever, 90% of them are just driving back and forth across the map so that you're forced to pay attention while not having anything to stimulate your brain. I don't do anything but Nightclub passive income at this point, it is genuinely painful doing most of these missions.

I know going into it everything R* makes ends up tasting like a 5 layer %$#@cake.
The main reason everything R* makes plays the same is because of their basic approach.
Make something that is fun and engaging.
Then chop it into 4 sections and add 4 layers of %^$#.

only 1000 crate to sell for the free helicopter and it is X2 or even better x4 with gta+
same ♥♥♥♥ as only 1000 crates to deliver for the fancy mazebank achievement
or over 600 supply mission to unlock the fancy alien egg bunker supply mission

but this is also what you always did in these games sometimes a little bit pepered with a nice cutscene here and there

This game is only worth playing with friends tbh. If you don't enjoy missions and only play this game to grind money, find something else to play.

I do have you and Tighty Whitey blocked, that's the only reason I saw your posts here as "topic by a blocked user" after all those ones on the RDR2 discussion board and had to laugh at you since all you do is cry and complain about R* games. Here's an idea: Just don't play them if you don't like them, the rest of us that don't have entitlement or skill issues continue to play them fine.

Homie, I'm on plenty of Steam community forums, I don't have a hate boner for Rockstar in particular. I actually like GTA Online a lot, but I make all my money with passive Nightclub income because Rockstar likes making them as mind-numbingly boring as possible to encourage Shark Card sales. I did serious grinding for my friend for the first time in a few years yesterday, that prompted the original post. All we did was fly jets in straight lines back and forth across the map for 2 hours.

I never said it was hard, I said they were annoying. They're intentionally slow and tedious because you wouldn't buy Shark Cards to skip the grind if they were fun. I'm not even making money off of this, I'm trying to help HIM fill up his hangar so that he can buy a new super car or something. And I'm not calling him a virgin, I'm joking that his pure, innocent eyes have been tainted by being forced to see criticism of his favorite developer.

hangar freight is particularly punishing and probably still the worst business in the game. idc that it's a $5M full cargo sale, the time consumption and BS situations you are put in for acquiring those cargos is just not worth it. the quick 5 minute cargo missions are rare, instead you're often looking at a 10 minute minimum mission. if anything goes wrong like for example you're hit by a freaking lock-on missile from the jets that respawn over and over then it's even more time.

i also don't even like the night club sales anymore, no thanks. i dont have patience for 10 to 15 minutes of driving the sale truck all over blaine county lol.

I had actually never done any hangar missions before yesterday, don't plan on starting after doing that. I'll goof around and let my nightclub door sales pay for my ammo, thanks. Too bad my homie bought GTA+ just for 4x money on this, now we have to do it again later to get the last 9 crates.

It's the business model of all F2P games : Fun but Grind annoying, pay for boost...

I farmed Cayo
I farmed Payphone hits when they were 170k every 5 min (could bypass CD by restarting game)
I farmed Union Depository when it was x3 and there was CEO bug, 1M every 15 min.
I don't farm anything anymore now.
i do some hangar missions sometimes because i enjoy them.
