i cant play rockstar games anymore
i had an ccount with a email that i dont have anymore. when i try to log in they send a code to that inexistence email but i cant see it so i cant start the game. I contected many many times the rockstar assistence but only ai answers me and they ask me when i connected my rockstar game account to steam and the only way i could know it is by log in the same email i dont have anymore. can i do something to be able to play my steam bought rockstar games? or can some on you help me to talk to a real human being that works for rockstar? never in my whole life an assistence service was so bad

They'll help. Just need to contact them, jump through some flaming hoops, answer some questions, possibly some screenshots, spin the support agent roulette, and win. The question that usually causes the most issue for people is the date you linked your steam account with the social club account. Having the old email for that - helpful. Sometimes you can deduce this based on steam achievement dates for R* games + purchase dates in your steam transaction history to narrow down to the earliest one correct date or a frame of viable dates - all likely needing their own ticket due to 'hur wrong /close ticket'.

tl;dr/lazy - use this link below to contact R* without logging in to RECOVER the already linked social club account/fix/change email to one you have access to. Many hoops to jump to prove you're the owner, have steam account, cdkey etc, and roll the dice on help-

Also, when you make a ticket - make sure to use a functional email, not the old one. They may ask you to confirm ownership of the email you used and not be explicit about it. Ask them to clarify if necessary. I also wouldn't use the word 'unlink' - as they have a different process for 'unlink' and that may confuse them. Just ask them to change the email on the social club account to one you have access to.

There's even live chat, or phone callbacks - IF they are enabled. You need a throw away social club account to access them as they require you to be logged into the website last time I checked. YMMV with those too.. obviously.

/goodluck - for some it is a couple hours, others days/weeks, multiple tries.


edit - if they keep closing tickets on you, you are doing something wrong, answering wrong, not doing something they request, properly giving what they request, etc. do not get wordy with them. be simple.

I tried many many days and times. Only so answer me and they ask for a date that I don't have. I have la noire and GTA on steam but I remember before Max Payne that maybe wasn't social club? Also games on PlayStation that I don't have anymore. What date should I say to them? Fist la noir achievement? Also can't some of you help me speak with a rela rockstar game human being?
Non steam R* games are irrelevant if they are asking for the date you linked your steam account to a social club account. Could be important if they ask about console.

You find your earliest achievements on all 3.. 4.. games.. whatever. You then compare those date with the game purchases dates in steam. IF the dates MATCH, those dates could be it. Starting with 'the earliest one'. If the days do NOT match - say you got gta5 on the 6th, and first achievement is on the 16th.. that is 10 possible days.

That doesn't mean they don't follow business hours, allow all regions, or anything else. At that point, you can do a ticket, even try a vpn if regional issue -.-;; - or google harder.

if you bought the game on steam and you created the account the same day that you bought it, the date you need should be in your purchase history.
(or close enough if you are lucky)

And realize they be like "no please come back you make us so sad" Whiping their face with hundred dollar bills knowing damn well in 3 years when GTA 6 comes out on pc you not only be back but you will buy it on console at least once while you wait lol

I spent most my life working retail for big companies not only do people who say this come back 2/3 of the time they won't look you in the eye when they do it if you were the employee they said it to lol Its like damn you didn't even make it 4 days I figured a week at least before you caved sigh...

I speak in chat with an AI that say to me he is human over and over when I ask him to tell me it wasn't an AI, that say to me that couldn't solve this on chat and he will write me an email..he did asking for steam account screenshot an Id 64, I give. Then again same question and closing the ticket. Maybe the 20th ticket. I'm getting mad. What can I do? With all the money they have..
