so, how do you know they sent it to an adress that is unknown by you?
I'm sorta in the same boat, a old account that used a compromised password from years ago. Luckily I had 2-factor authentication enabled
Because the email-address is shown to where the activation-code is send to ...
It is and has never ever been my email-address that is shown ...
My emailadress NEVER changed for the past 24 year's, so how Rockstar thinks this is my current email-address, I don't know !
time to pray to rockstar support
Well, WRONG, overthere it is still my 24 year old email-address I still use daily ...
Regards,
Phoenix
I just tryed to logon to Rockstar Social club, my 2fa was removed, and my password was reset, I had to change it ...
And now the option for steam is visible again, and for good measure, I installed GTA again,
And now the verification code is send to my 24 year old email-address and I'm able to play it again !!!
Regards,
Phoenix
