This ideal for gaming, it shows your only bottleneck is the GPU.
HOPE THIS HELP...at least one person, bc it help me
not an aswer for suddnelty 100% gpu usage
i first thought they optimized the cpu utilisation but my gpu now is working harder then before aswell and i dont see any fps increase
sound like if you are using 100% gpu usage...THE GAME WILL NOT WORK CORRECTLY... simply because its "too powerful' for your system...and "you dont have to ANSWER" this but is your computer at least 18 months old............ {mine is older than that...and i just finding out that i need a new computer to play the new gta....and i am not happy that i need a new computer bc i see nothing wrong with this one i am using....
Only, I am playing on a 2070 Super with Ryzen 7 5800X/32gb RAM.
1440p, no RT, most settings max/near max, frames capped at 72.
As the temperatures are totally ok (60°C), and the game runs smooth with no framedips or anything, I think it is actually fine, and in my case probably totally normal for the GPU to max out.
Definetly better performance now in enhanced, while quality also did improve.
I like the new version.
just upgraded gpu and cpu to a 4070 super and 5700x3d. the game is running well but i remember that last week i hadnt had "close to 100%" gpu usage very often and now its constantly up in almost every area or scenario ingame.
i thought my cpu was limiting time by time, speciall in full session and in the city. but as i said, now it seems like its not bottnecking anywere anymore. whatever, i dont really see a fps increase that justifies the higher gpu usage, its almost the same as before.
Yes, this is how it should be if your PC is performing optimally
To get an increase in FPS you need to lower your Graphics settings or overclock the GPU, 100% GPU usage means your GPU is the limiting hardware (bottleneck) in your PC
ah no you missunderstood that. i wasnt at 100% last week, but when i checked it the past days it suddently was using up to 100% without any changes in the settings. so i guessed a gta updated brought some better cpu utalisation and the bottneneck i had before is now gone.
anways i was wrong and i also have to withdraw my previous posts.
i was just driving through the city checking my fps and gpu usage and its all back as i remembered it.
i guess raytracing is the issue here. its seems like the resources costs not only vary when you compare day and night. also the daytime seem to matter a whole lot or maybe the weather. so sometimes it brings my gpu to the limit and othertimes the cpu bottneck kicks in.
ok, yeah ray tracing i think is more CPU intensive
my system is just over 3years old and i can run thisfine online and single player
