help with linking game from epic to steam
hey

i own the game on epic games since it was free to keep, i have over 800 hours played, so i want to buy it here on steam but is it possible to start very fresh account with the same email i use to play the game with epic launcher and rockstar launcher cause i don't wanna make a whole new email adress just to start fresh

is it possible to unlink my rockstar account email and use that email on the steam version ?

Well, generally.... if you linked an epic based social club to a steam copy of the game - you'd share the progress due to both being on the pc.

If you haven't played the epic copy on enhanced, or migrated - ........theoretically, you can buy it on steam, attach/link to the social club account that has your email - and just don't migrate your progress and start at 0.

Or, obviously, make a new email - and just change the email on that social club account hooked to epic - to release the email you prefer to be used on the steam account.

Hopefully not too confusing.

i haven't played the legacy version since 2 months so yeah you can say i never played the enhanced

so you mean i can start at 0 with the enhanced version on steam with the same email i use to play the legacy version and to log into rockstar launcher yes ? cause the legacy version and enhanced are 2 seperated games now right so that means a whole new game, hopefully you understand me
Like I said - theoretically, exactly as you describe. Just don't migrate your legacy stuff. Or migrate, and delete them. You get a 1 time migrate - after that, the accounts don't sync progress.

Granted, I haven't seen anyone yet admit to being banned and being able to play the new enhanced version on a banned social club account so.... if that is a patch you're wearing - all bets are off.

/goodluck

but that will just carry on my progress from epic to steam like ingame trophys and character stats and all online progress, i don't want that i just want a fresh start on steam
