I was waiting for these posts, it's all about getting some more cash from online before GTA 6. Greedy companies like Rockstar don't give free away unless there is something for them.
This update serves no purpose beyond further exploiting the online mode for profit. The so-called improvements are little more than some particles here ant there, laughable "raytracing" ... offering nothing of real substance.
Not only sound bugs, but they also took away Surround Sound as an option in the settings, too
Try looking for you it yourself
They ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ console-ified GTA 5!

Its not a sound bug, go to audio and turn up the volume. Its auto set to turn off the game sound when someone uses their mic or when an NPC is telling you instructions in a mission
its funny because you need turn on new stuff. However, some things have become worse on the "default" settings, such as the drawing range.

I mean adding DLSS to any older gen game is amazing, the option of ray tracing is nice, but it still seems a little lacklustre. At least upscale the textures and add improved meshes/models or what ever it's called.
bro this isnt a remaster.

They approved a bunch of textures, in particular the road, blood and dirt on your vehicle is more 3D now and the fire effects from burning cars is now better too.

DLSS also makes the game look better than native in terms of the mesh models...

No blurryness here at maxed 4K with DLSS quality.

Devs are getting way too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lazy. This "enhanced edition" is a wasted excuse.

Here, fella. Take a tissue.
When it comes to graphics and loading times, that's the best comparison I saw:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehD8NN_IZ6E

When it comes to other stuff, you get what consoles got in Expanded and Enhanced.

Single Player:
- some new collectibles around the city (monkey mosaics - this one is single player only, can be collected by all three characters)
- Stock Car Racing - A race activity unlocked by Trevor Philips but then available to all three protagonists (also single player only)
- Murder Mystery - Side mission available to Michael De Santa, requiring the discovery and solving of a decades-old murder in the Vinewood film industry
- new cars, weapons (inluding railgun), radio stations (and 162 new songs across all radio stations)
- improved FPP mode with aiming down the sigths and ability to play entire game in FPP mode
- increased resolution for Snapmatic (phone camera photos) - resolution increasing from 640x360 to 960x536. Also some new filters

GTA Online:
- ability to rearrange your cars between all garages from Vehicle menu under M button (you don't need to drive your cars between garages to move them anymore)
- Career tab (under ESC) - goals to achieve, which unlock some additional clothes, and on Tier 4 even some free cars and GTA$
- ability to buy GTA+ subscription
- HSW cars (Hao's Special Works) - cars with higher speed than any other cars with their own set of upgrades and time trials, events, etc.
- new main menu to launch specific modes instead of having to go into free mode before launching any races, etc.
- alternative game start for new players (with 4kk GTA$ and a choice between 4 career paths: Executive, Gunrunner, Nightclub Owner or Biker, which include Business Properties with pre-set upgrade packages and optional Vehicles, and Weapons
- if you have PS5 controller, Haptic Feedback and Adaptive trigger mechanics
- Dolby Atmos support for better sound
- animals are now also in GTA Online - couguars can attack you during missions, there's a daily event to tak photos of 3 specific animal species (cat, rabbit, seagull, etc.)

There's probably more.
Like I said before it looks much better than any ENB ive used for gta iv or v (including martys raytraced shaders). Without all those annoying ENB glitches.

Ive noticed some issues, like the lighting on a decal on a windshield with a bullet hole just kinda flashes weirdly.

But my god, I dont know how you guys can play raytraced games and claim you see no difference. Pictures cant really do it justice.

A few times my brain was tricked enough it felt like I was playing that photorealistic version of gta v. Granted it was mainly during the high speed scenes in certain areas, during certain lighting situations. But still, I thought it was neat.

I was noticing this. Maxing out sharpening in the Graphics Settings made a huge difference with minimal frame loss.
