They ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ console-ified GTA 5!
They approved a bunch of textures, in particular the road, blood and dirt on your vehicle is more 3D now and the fire effects from burning cars is now better too.
DLSS also makes the game look better than native in terms of the mesh models...
No blurryness here at maxed 4K with DLSS quality.

When it comes to other stuff, you get what consoles got in Expanded and Enhanced.
Single Player:
- some new collectibles around the city (monkey mosaics - this one is single player only, can be collected by all three characters)
- Stock Car Racing - A race activity unlocked by Trevor Philips but then available to all three protagonists (also single player only)
- Murder Mystery - Side mission available to Michael De Santa, requiring the discovery and solving of a decades-old murder in the Vinewood film industry
- new cars, weapons (inluding railgun), radio stations (and 162 new songs across all radio stations)
- improved FPP mode with aiming down the sigths and ability to play entire game in FPP mode
- increased resolution for Snapmatic (phone camera photos) - resolution increasing from 640x360 to 960x536. Also some new filters
GTA Online:
- ability to rearrange your cars between all garages from Vehicle menu under M button (you don't need to drive your cars between garages to move them anymore)
- Career tab (under ESC) - goals to achieve, which unlock some additional clothes, and on Tier 4 even some free cars and GTA$
- ability to buy GTA+ subscription
- HSW cars (Hao's Special Works) - cars with higher speed than any other cars with their own set of upgrades and time trials, events, etc.
- new main menu to launch specific modes instead of having to go into free mode before launching any races, etc.
- alternative game start for new players (with 4kk GTA$ and a choice between 4 career paths: Executive, Gunrunner, Nightclub Owner or Biker, which include Business Properties with pre-set upgrade packages and optional Vehicles, and Weapons
- if you have PS5 controller, Haptic Feedback and Adaptive trigger mechanics
- Dolby Atmos support for better sound
- animals are now also in GTA Online - couguars can attack you during missions, there's a daily event to tak photos of 3 specific animal species (cat, rabbit, seagull, etc.)
There's probably more.
Ive noticed some issues, like the lighting on a decal on a windshield with a bullet hole just kinda flashes weirdly.
But my god, I dont know how you guys can play raytraced games and claim you see no difference. Pictures cant really do it justice.
A few times my brain was tricked enough it felt like I was playing that photorealistic version of gta v. Granted it was mainly during the high speed scenes in certain areas, during certain lighting situations. But still, I thought it was neat.

Im dumb, yes im aware.
Better lights and shadows
Less popin
Animals
Cameleon paints
HSW upgrades
Can move car from garage to another easily
Increased hangar capacity
I was noticing this. Maxing out sharpening in the Graphics Settings made a huge difference with minimal frame loss.
