Bring back text chat AT ONCE
Don't make us wait, just put it back in.
Yes the shadows and lighting look nice, chameleon paint is fun, whatever. Text chat is half the fun of GTAO

Oh god, i was wondering why i couldnt chat, and couldnt find the button to enable it.

Can't you text other players through your phone ?

And is text chat disabled in missions or only in free-mode ?

Strangely, you can't rebind T or Y because they are tied to text chat. If you try to, the changes can't be saved.

I don't understand this take.
I'm playing ONLINE I want to interact with the whole server and have global ♥♥♥♥ talking capability. It's fun, it's part of the vibe of the game.

I'm actually pretty okay with this. Not seeing the constant Cheat spam messages is nice. Plus this gives a reason to actually text players

Now a friends chat where you never see the five year olds and i have to add you to a list before i see your chat now that would be the best of both worlds
