No you're not, I am experiencing the same thing with my RTX3070. There is quite literally no difference at all. I feel kinda scammed lowkey, it reset my business' stock prices. My bunker stock reset itself to 250k when it was at almost 3mil before I logged off legacy last night.
light doesn't bounce, i get 116 fps on a 3080... wich is way too high.
everything maxed out.
complaining about too much fps might seem weird i know but with rt i should get like 40-50 lol
I am not sure about the RTGI though, i would have to test that.
there was smoke but the light from the red turning lights didn't bounce in the smoke.
the first vault was overly bright i think for having rtgi...
the red light was also hard capped behind a wall wich should bleed more with rtx.
so i guess all the things i'm describing are part of path tracing then?
idk anymore atm hehe.
reflections did look clear indeed.
Big difference in visuals. Either u guys r blind or something doesnt work properly on ur ends
I wonder if this is a problem with our GPU card family, OP. i have the 7900 XT. There is no difference from the Legacy version for me. Perhaps we need a driver update.
I think ray-tracing is not something everyone will notice but to me it makes the graphics more realistic and without it things look flat. Its like the difference between a hand drawn cartoon and a 3d animated cartoon done with computers. Both look 3d but one looks more real.
