It will never officially work unless Rockstar pulls their head out of their ass and enables Battleye support on Linux systems. There are "mitigations" to get around it, but from what I've been hearing Online is practically unplayable for anyone in the past couple weeks due to an update that causes players to "desync" and get kicked completely at random. Sometimes after a few minutes, sometimes a few dozen minutes.

You can play singleplayer by setting launch options to: SteamDeck=1 %command%
