This update is broken! I have all on ultra and sometimes fps is 120 then going down to 80, sometimes drops to 50 and then go back to 80, but you can notice that textures going low res and all is in pixels. So it's like always, R doing same thing

Worried about gta 6 now...
WHAT ABOUT THE SOUND I MEAN I CANT HEAR WHEN I SHOOT OR WHEN PPL TALK SOME AUDIO BUG OR SOMETHING LOOKED EVERYWHERE AND I DONT FIND ANYTHING
Thats just the engine and the way Rockstar "optimized" GTA 5. Legacy has the same problems, unless you remove the bottleneck with higher resolutions.
i mean i know its an optimization problem, but how bad is my ryzen 9 7950x that i can barely have 40% gpu usage, i have a rtx 4080 playing at 1440p, is not the first game so reallly bad cpu for gaming i guess
i think even the 9800x3D would have issues with a cpu bottleneck. Just try to make the game more gpu bound.

i have the same problem.. only with gta 5... i have 4070 and i5 14600kf and my gpu usage ist bad bad bad bad bad...... i have a massive bottleneck with this 12 years old game.. yikers nice cockstar

seems like this versions is heavely cpu bound, my gpu keep on 40% while cpu is 100%. This didn't happen in the legacy version

The issue is the 120 FPS cap that cant be disabled, even when you set it to off in game.

Unfortunatly 70fps on 4070ti in every graphics pressets
seems a bit low...)))

Check GTA 5 benchmarks with your CPU, its not the fault of your GPU.

I dont know what they did but over the years it became way harder on the CPU.

Dont know why they didnt added frame gen this could have helped against the low GPU usage

maybe it has something to do with the 120fps cap, they also need to add ray reconstruction because the reflections in certain angles looks really noisy

Checked it, yes processor is the problem, even in legacy version. But it's a shame that they don't care about cpu working so bad with this game.

Yeah, after the steam release i could run it with hundreds of FPS with way worse hardware we had back in the day.

Maybe you can get an 5700X3D for cheap? Mhmmhmhmhmhmh
