Stutter issues
Idk why im getting these stutters, i tried disabling RT, lowering textures and everything but nothing.

My rig got a RTX 4060 mobile at 105w TGP and a AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS, i know it aint no 4090, but this should get it done

This is not the problem. I have the same laptop gpu and rdr2 runs at a smooth 90fps. This enhanced version just stutters like hell.
overheat i am sure. my cpu does that when its around 70-80°C+ a reason why i bought a 145€ turbo fan cooler from Llano for my 1800€ laptop =)

actually unless you mod stock cooler in laptops you proably have like 30-60% overheat issue (intel at least has those) amd isnt better even my office 15 watt is almost 80°C when i added a extra heatpipe and liquid metal on all laptops.

I actually got a Llano cooler, a v12 if im not mistaken, i can play any game without issue, even rdr2 on ultra and it doesnt stutter like this, my cpu is always under 65 celsius, my gpu at max 57 celsius, the same issue with the legacy version, itss funny cuz i played gta 5 legacy in a 3050 mobile and it didnt stutter like it does now
i think a got a V15 rgb could also be V14 but anyway they didnt change from cooling power so much since v10 anyway.

how much ram do you have. vram should be fine. i saw 6gb usage and the 60s you own should have 8gb i think.
I got 3070m and game doesn't utilize gpu at all. I got 40 fps on max settings and max 50 GPU/CPU utilization. On High settings i get 50 fps

yep, my same issue, it only utilizes max up to 70% gpu, and sometimes up to 99%, theres a bottleneck, just like the legacy edition, or maybe the nvidia drivers

The issue i think is with this poor ass direct storage optimization on the enhanced version

i got a 8gb of vram, and 32 gb of ram, it only needs like 6gb of vram on very high setting and RT, maybe its a bottleneck, idk tbh, i wanted to play this game again, but with this perfomance is not fun to play

not sure about vram, disabling RT doesnt help much. Also DLSS doesnt help either, performance and DLAA work pretty much the same

i cant tell you, but spec wise your not far behind my spec its about 20-30% in cpu and gpu not so much that it shouldnt run or run this bad.
Enable DLSS, disable every Raytracing mode except Reflections and shadows. See if that helps. Oh and stutters might be caused by DirectStorage, and having a bad/incompatible SSD

I found a solution, I think, but it was with the source of audio, if u got too many audio devices u need to disable everything except ur main source of audio, i found a YT vid from 4 years ago abt stuttering and it worked, now i get stable fps with RT on
can you post the link? Im stuttering too with a 4070
