SINGLE PLAYER PROGRESS LOST

Loaded game - loaded up single player first, no migration occurred.
Clicked online, migrated online profile. Saw can get $4,000,000 for my second online character, selected that character. Bought 3 million worth and started the online game. Swapped to my main character.
Then tried to swap to single player, and now I'm back at the start of the game.. all progress lost.
