Help me understand GTA online

I've quit very early in the past, at like lvl 5, cause I kept being chased by someone on a flying bike, spam killing me etc... I assume that was a cheater, cause if that is legit gameplay... Who the hell would want to play that??

Now I come back with enhanced, and yet again I am being instantly chased by someone. We had a few back and forths shooting. He killed me a bunch and I quit trying,

and then he kept honking at me, I understood he wanted me to come with... He took me to a chopper... Again honking to come with... took me to the city... landed, went into appartment (I have no clue how to follow em there). Then he suddenly back on the street in a car honking at me...

Firstly: WHAT DO YOU WANT?? What is this person trying to do or say to me?

Secondly: Also... he blew up my car... I don't even remember how I got it. But it was a very fancy fast car. How do I get it back??

Why is absolutely nothing like these basic things explained to players?? ><

Update: Changed servers (I think?). Some event popped up, I steal a car from NPC, start driving towards it. Then halfway there. I got a player in a Jet following me, bombarding the ♥♥♥♥ out of me...

Is this rly what online is supposed to be like?

There is literally not a timeframe for me to begin understanding the game and what is happening before I got some random guy chase/spamkill me... How is this good game design? Even as a freeroam game, whatever u want to call it.

The online gaming community has become a big ♥♥♥♥♥♥' joke. Cheating's rampant, nobody ever helps anyone and people troll constantly. I used to love mp, now I ♥♥♥♥'n despise it.

Just play in Invite Only lobbies bro, those flying vehicles are real, not modded. They kill ANY immersion GTA Online could ever have. Heres to hoping GTA Online 2 actually feels like GTA.

do the tutorial at the start with a fresh character
then go into invite only till ya get ya bearings
then join public sesh once ya understand the game abit more
you will be targeted by idiots that only go after newbs thats normal
but you will still find lobbys that have helpful players and some that aint childinsh lil ♥♥♥♥♥ in them that will just blow you up for noreason
youll soon get used to it

Just play invite only or with Friends. Gta Online is PvP hell and as a Beginner you dont really have a chance.

TAKE MY HAND..I WALK YOU THROUGH THIS

1) some online players want to MESS with other players..in hope to RIUN the mission (if you have 6 cars to drive to a loction..they destroy all cars..and YOU FAIL THE MISSION)

play solo at times or players you trust

you can grind in invite only lobbies, it's the only way to enjoy the game really, other players degrade the experience quite literally

Thanks for the tip but... How is this game so much praised with this kind of game mechanics? Literally no casual player would enjoy login on to online mode... Getin, get chased, die...

Are those famous RP servers the only way I'm guessing?

Online is not praised at all. It's constantly considered that Rockstar doesn't care about the quality of it. You should've seen it even worse years and years ago lol, used to take like 20 minutes to load haha

Online is not praised at all. It's constantly considered that Rockstar doesn't care about the quality of it. You should've seen it even worse years and years ago lol, used to take like 20 minutes to load haha

Guess I'll go uninstall then... The game is praised one way or another tho, who are all those ppl?

I'm defo not buying the 6th if they still don't care. I even bought GTA5 on a 75% discount, years later. If devs don't care, I don't care.

You may be right...but there are some CLEAN PLAYERS.. I am clean..and if you need my user name it's listed 'HERE'
