Dualshock 4 is not compatible??? really rockstar???

so, it has suport to dualsense, but not Dualshock 4? the old version had suport, so what happpened, this DS4 does not support ray tracing or something? rockstar has fallen low recently. extremelly low expectations for gta 6, I wont even buy, only after 5, 6 years or something after the pc port come out so we can be sure all the game has been fixed and if we take gta 5 as a blueprint is when gta online on 6 may start fixing some account breaking stuff, or stuff being stollen by hackers

If you want to play GTA V with a DualShock 4 and have all the controller functions working just like on PS4, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Disable Steam Input
Open Steam.
Go to Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings.
Uncheck the PlayStation Configuration Support option.
Step 2: Use a USB Cable
Connect the DualShock 4 to your PC using a USB cable.
Launch GTA V, and you're all set!
All Features Enabled
By following this method, all DualShock 4 features will work, including:
✔ LED lights that react to the game
✔ Vibration support
✔ Trackpad recognized as an additional button

it worked thanks, steam imput was activated and everytime I started the game it would force me to play with xbox layout, I thought it was the games fault, my bad

on steam library, click on the game, then before launching the game go to the gear thing on the right ,go to settings, controller and disable steam input

I think my old Logitech Dual action gamepad doesn't work. I did all settings, disable steam input but useless. It's a tragedy to race with keyboard...

The only way i've managed to get a dualshock 4 to work for this game is using DS4 windows only problem that comes with is would be that since the dualshock 4 isn't supported even through steam input it means you'll have to use an xbox layout and it can be kind of annoying at times

download DS4Windows. the default setting is emulating ds4 into xbox 360. You can change it back to ds4. Now gta v enhanced will detect it as Playstation controller and the buttons will be playstation. One thing i noticed is that camera mode button does not work. idk why. try it. i even use mine in bluetooth and it works fine.
