I read somewhere that online characters that picked up hacked money from an online session are ineligible to transfer.

The issue is people have poured upto a decade into this game only for, whether they earned their assets legimitately or not, Rockstar to block a large chunk of the playerbase's ability to use their characters or money in this new version. Starting over may work for some people but its not a solution as a whole because not everyone wants to go through that massive grind again with nothing but 4 mil (which gets eaten up pretty much entirely by the Career Builder) and a massive "♥♥♥♥ you" from Rockstar Support

also getting 100% completion and doing dooms day achievements again when thats hiest npc have aimbot

For the people saying you lose your money in GTA Enhanced, you're misunderstanding.

Your Legacy money overwrites your Enhanced balance. So if you earn 500k in Enhanced before migrating that's what you lose.

so, I have my Account since 2015... of course there were a lot of modders back then. my Account is Lvl 2172 and has 31 Billion Dollar... cause back in the day I joined a radom heist with a modder who boosted us without asking. so yeah, my acc can´t migrate and when I asked R* for solutions, they sad womp womp and closed my ticket.

I confirm, i have migrated and deleted my 2nd character for a new start.
Next day, swap character, back to lvl 900 with everything because tired of having 500 ammo max and dying in 1s.
I don't care about career or achievements.

I picked up hacked cash off and on over the past few years and migrated just fine.
