Either way it's 2025 and you need to get with the times, every online game where you have to communicate and cooperate with other players will want you to use voice chat.

lol what has 2025 to do with voice chat full of weirdos? Text chat is so much simpler and easier and not everybody has a microphone for good reasons. Be less toxic somewhere else maybe, do you even play GTA:O ? The person you are attacking has a handicap and cant use his voice to make friends online and play a nice game or a heist with strangers. Not all of your opinions matter here., I care more about easy access for people who are lessfortunate in life than healthy people, I dont mind walking a ramp or having larger toilet doors or TEXT chat in a game to give them their freedom, I love all people. If he loves GTA and fight to get TEXT back it is his right to do so, and I will support him and everybody else with a clear positive agenda, to make this world a better friendlier less toxic place where we can all reach each other hands and be united.

We have one life, lets make the best out of it and start with changing for the better.

I played GTA online since it was released, my online character is almost rank 600. Spent many long nights in freeroam sessions doing things like bunker and nightclub stocking/sales. Just because I didn't screenshot any of the annoying spammers doesn't mean they didn't exist.

Text chat should be in the game for people who:

1. Can't hear anything
2. Don't have a mic
3. Live in a crowded place

This ensures everyone can play at any time of the day without restriction and on even ground... so that everyone can enjoy the game as intended. It's that simple.

They will never make me turn on voice chat in GTA again after the amount of racism and outright garbage I've heard in GTA's ingame voice chat.

I personally prefer it without the chat as most of it was rampant with scammers and toxic people.

Non one said spammers don't exist but they definitely aren't 90% of text chatters.

There's no chat in RDR2 and it made RDO a LOT better without all the immature people throwing insults around. If this is a feature i am glad it's removed. No more toxic dikkits who can rage online because their offline is so pathetic.
