There is issue with WINE implementation. I guess we should have a fix in Proton Experimental soon:

wine: Call from 00006FFFFFFA3A58 to unimplemented function USER32.dll.GetDpiAwarenessContextForProcess, aborting

This is where it crashes
thank you, was about to look through logs to see what is happening. I'll guess we will get fix in the next couple of days, at least I hope so ;d

Seconding Neumond's issue, seems it can't get the screen DPI and it crashes? Gonna keep playing with it for a bit, maybe defining resolution on launch settings or using GE Proton.

Not sure how long the fix might take, but I hope as well that it will take no longer than couple of days. I see that WINE 10 has kind of solution for this. There is improvements for HiDPI support and stuffs. We might need to wait for Proton to rebase on WINE 10. Proton-GE might do this faster I assume.

I was super excited to try the enhanced edition, but now it seems we, Linux users need to wait a bit. Same applies to Steam Deck

Oh well, I have a million different platforms to play GTA 5 on in the meantime. Not a massive loss.

They will improve that, steamdeck is proton based. Just a question of days. Keep patience.

run with SteamDeck=1 %command%
Just to let you know, the newset GE 9-25 is not working as well, but I would expect GE to get fix quicker then proton updating to wine 10.

Confirming this works too. Who in god's name thought hiding Linux compatibility behind a launch command was a good idea?

Getting over 60fps at 1080p with pretty much everything cranked up on the intro section with FSR 3 Balanced (seems to look close enough to native to me on my 24" monitor). RT features seems to be working fine too on AMD, although they're slathered on top of the original renderer and don't really add much.
Online not working.
everything on ultra with ray tracing - 70-90 fps, sometimes it dips around 60s. RX7900xtx. I think I will turn the ray tracing off.
TBH i dont see much of improvement, and for me game seams to be capped at 119 fps dont know why. FSR 3 native res AA gives a lot of visual improvement over blury TAA. Also the colors are much more juicier to the point that I had to change my monitor settings. But it's just about it. I turned RT off, don't see much of a difference, but my fps jumped a lot.
