better question will it run on my 1060 and i3
The entire point of this version is Ray tracing. That's pretty much it.
4090 super :')
Yes, GTAVI also
1080ti godtier so yes
If you turn the ray tracing off, then yes.
WAIT.
It will probably run fine at the appropriate settings. Direct Storage appears to be fully compatible with the GTX1080Ti. You'll almost certainly need/want an SSD.

But, we don't know if there will be issues that need to be patched or if there will be any performance loss even after ray-tracing is turned off.

It's DIFFICULT to predict the new performance because I believe even with ray-tracing OFF there has been tweaks including increased draw distances etc. So an APPLES to APPLES in settings might be difficult.

Will FSR be of any benefit?
I doubt it for the GTX1080Ti. I had the game running fairly nicely on a GTX1080 at a locked 60FPS. 1440p monitor (FYI, I had to lock to 60FPS on a 60Hz, non-VRR monitor to avoid STUTTER in the cut scenes.)

Possibly FSR Quality Mode for 4K screens. FSR varies in how it looks and looks worse at lower resolutions. As for "Frame Gen" if even an option you won't want it for GTX10 series if anybody's asking.

PROBABLY the Enhanced version will end up the optimal version for a GTX10 series but nobody can say until people can play with it.

i mean, like maybe 40fps
1050 Ti
It's an excellent classic GPU. If you have issues, investigate using Lossless Scaling to generate extra frames. As long as you can lock your in-game FPS to a low level, such as 30 FPS, this will let you increase visual fidelity at a low FPS, then multiple the FPS using interpolated frame generation at the cost of a little latency. Lossless Scaling is available on Steam. Make sure you find out how to use this tool as many people don't educate themselves over how to use it, do it wrong and trash the tool. It's an amazing tool, and I have a 4090.

UGH.
Suit yourself, but I absolutely under NO circumstances can recommend somebody with a GTX1080Ti play GTA V with any form of Frame Gen if going from a low FPS.

Little cost of latency if the game is only generating 30FPS?
Wrong. That's just wrong.

I've got Lossless scaling to test, and have tried FSR, DLSS etc. Plus I read up on how Frame Gen works. Bottom line is that it degrades the visuals to varying degree and the lower the TRUE FRAMES the higher the latency is.

And Lossless Scaling isn't doing the same quality as DLSS. You don't have any temporal clues etc. It's a post-process process meaning the frames are already generated.

IMO, this is just BAD advice. But people can decide for themselves.

I recommend aiming for 60FPS to 80FPS using a GSync/Freesync display if possible without using Frame Gen. Adjust the visuals to get there.

Will it run on my Diamond EDGE 3D 2120?

You are a shining example of someone who doesn't know how to use Lossless Scaling.
