I just check my own epic games ITS THERE
players that got it for free can still get upgraded version for free
I log on to mine...ITS THERE LUCKY ME 😜
(edit: mind you, I have the "free" version)
(edit2: when I click to see the games page on epic it shows it doesn't exist anymore, only searching up GTA 5 shows the game page and yet it doesn't count as if I have it. I think the problem might be 1. bugs, but also 2. the game ppl downloaded way back as a "free" game, might only be bound as a legacy version. I've checked the R* launcher in the morning before the update and I could see the pop up about upgrading, after the update it disappeared as if I couldn't upgrade from now on)
I'd contact Epic retail services and set up a ticket with them.
