Will my PC run the Enhanced version?
I've been playing the regular version since 2019 with these settings (I actually did some upgrades overtime, like increasing the RAM from 8 to 16 and stuff), my game runs just fine with almost max settings (using some custom settings of course) with a stable 50 - 60 FPS, can the Enhanced version run just fine as well? I would love some help

- Windows 10 Pro
- Nvidia GTX 1050 TI 4 GB
- Motherboard AFOX IB75-MA5
- 16 GB RAM (x2 8gb) DDR3 HyperX
- Intel Core I5 3470
- Hard Disk (HD) 1TB

I'm also planning to upgrade to a 1TB ssd in a few months

DDR3 is still viable to some degree. I got one DDR3 system matched with an RTX 4060 Ti, and although it does get some bottle-necking here and there depending on the game, matched with a good enough 5th Gen i7 CPU, it's not completely bottle-necked.

DDR3 RAM @ 2400Mhz does the job.

It's once I got an RTX 4070 Super as well that I saw it was now time for me to build another PC which is a DDR5 system, with an i7-12700KF. Because that one GPU was getting bottle-necked pretty heavily in the DDR3 system.

Problem with his rig is mostly the CPU and GPU. The system could get upgrades on the second-hand market for cheap if budget is tight, and now the rig could run GTA V Enhanced Edition pretty well.
I was about to get depressed with what some people said, since I can't afford a high end PC like most of people, specially where I live, you where actually the most honest one in the replies, thanks.

No problem, my pleasure. Yes you could upgrade your CPU, RAM and GPU with that same system.

i7-3770K is the best CPU for your motherboard's socket type. You could get one off eBay for cheap, and maybe get a second-hand RTX 3060. It would be bottle-necked by your CPU, but not that much.

You would still get benefit from it. Otherwise maybe a GTX 1660 Super or Ti. But IMO you would need an RTX 3060 to get benefit from the Enhanced Edition additional graphical options.

Otherwise you might as well keep playing the Legacy version of GTA V.

Just my 2 cents. Your call in the end. You could still try the Enhanced Edition with your current hardware when you get your SSD drive, but you would probably get a worst experience than if you stayed with Legacy.

Well the game will probably open... no idea how much fps
Also yea good plan to get a SSD

you WILL NEED a SSD. thats your number one priority
you will have way less FPS and have to play on way lower graphic now, cause your graphics card has to little VRAM (you need 8GB of VRAM now). that should be your second priority.
your third priority should be Processor. maybe even Ram , upgrade to ddr4. ddr4 is really cheap nowadays

There's no point in trying to upgrade to a game version meant for graphical improvements when you're going to have to play on a lower graphical setting.

To answer your question. Yes it will run, but your experience will be very limited and you will not unlock the full potential of the upgrades.
Yes, considering game didn't change much and ps5 has the same hardware inside as you
Even if you encounter a low fps u can use FSR
No dlss for you, will get though on that trusted workhorse (i5) of yours

you better play legacy version
i run it on:
Dell OptiPlex 9020 SFF
RAM: 32 4x8
GTX 1050 Ti LP 4GB on a PCI x4 Slot
FPS: 45~60

No point in using the Enhanced Edition with such a weak rig, no offence. You will get no benefit from it most likely. Better stay on the original version of GTA V.

As someone else stated, no DLSS for you, and no Ray Tracing either. Not that this card could handle it anyways.

This, yes.

It's getting time to upgrade your PC my man. DDR3 is not worth it for modern gaming, let alone such a weak CPU and GPU. You won't really be able to experience any of the enhancements such as the raytracing, better textures, etc. Your PC is far too weak.

PS5 does not have a 1050TI in its hardware spec.

PS5 uses the equivalent of a 3080 and the Pro a 3080TI

What? Not even close bro.

A GTX 1080 beats the PS5 easily.
