Even DayZ has it, why GTA V not? Just enable it, we want to play multiplayer TOO

P. S. new Next-Gen update is Great! But we need Linux/Steam Deck Anti-cheat enabled, PLEASE!

The windows and linux versions are the same versions, they simply allow linux users to play on it when it's enabled. Stop spreading lies about things you don't know anything about.

As someone who has a Steam Deck and recently switched back to mainly using Linux, ensuring compatibility there is always a bonus to me.

Don't spread misinformation. if you don't know Linux thing don't ask. The problem is AC BattleEye are needed add to manual to work made by Developer studio of game. for Compatibility. But Mostly likely studio will not want. for now is Only windows to this game. developer need add manual anti-cheat to compatible Linux to work for Steam Deck. If Steam Deck is compatible then goes working to Linux. Game like DayZ had BattleEye and had working fine on linux. Company like Epic Games blacklisted fortnite or Fall Guys to Linux before blacklisted games both had running fine. Now not anymore.

Don't get me wrong, I totally support the cause, just saying that when developers of large competitive games say things like this, it's hard to blame people for believing in it

Sure, it's your choice. I switched mine a long time ago to avoid this kind of problem. Also because I'm familiar with it.

Do yourself a favor and cut your losses with this game. Its been 12 years surely thats been enough time to play and move on. Unless you buy shark cards, then you are really gonna have a bad time dropping this game. Thats one of the core realities of linux gaming is realize you must cut ties with those companies that disrespect you.
