its just a preload
Restart steam. Check steam library again. It 'should' be there - GTAV Enhanced. There may also be a banner talking about it. Can also try from here -
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3240220/Grand_Theft_Auto_V_Enhanced/
YMMV. /goodluck
edit - as for folders showing 0kb after preload.. this is because.. preload. the encypted files should be in steam / steamapps / depotcache
No big deal, though, just an observation.
...and on a similar note, I got prompted to measure / submit my hardware specs on Steam on this PC yesterday after I preloaded the game on my new PC earlier, but I thanked no, since this is the old one.
I know we get asked that from time to time, but it's a long time ago now, but I'm wondering if this remake of GTA5 prompted it, combined with that I had downloaded it earlier?
I may can give u some inside
On your OLD PC..YOU WERE ASK FOR HARDWARE INFO AND IT DID NOT SHOW..but your newer pc the game show..here is what that tell me
1st your old computer..IT SAYING we have the game but on [the old] computer it will not be able to run for any number of reasons like
Is that old pc 32 bit or 64 bit
Do you have enuf DISK SPACE
ENUF MEMORY
if the answer is no to any question...THEN THE GAME WONT WORK
[the Legacy ver of gta 5..TRY TO PLAY..C HOW WELL IT RUN on the old pc
Now go on new pc...repeat the process again..ON THE NEW PC... and compare
Last note. Google the following text
Can I run it
IT will give you a game site letting you know what games you can and can not run...and sugg on HOW TO FIX IT if a game don't run
Many thanks for the tips.
They should both be able to run it. Old one is R5 5600X, RTX 3070 Ti with 32 GB, and new(ish) is R7 7800X3D, RTX 4080S with 32 GB (full specs in profile).
I played the original GTA5 on an even older one that had a GTX 690, but I've never had it installed on any of the newer ones.
But it's not really important, as I'm going to play it on the new one, and when the enhanced edition is fully released I will probably be able to install on the old one as well, if I feel like it.
Thanks again!
Sure..join me.
