READ IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT GTA V ENHANCED IS ABOUT
GTA 5 on PC is receiving the content that the next-gen console releases (PS5/Xbox Series X) exclusively had. This includes:

*ray tracing features only available on PC such as ambient occlusion and global illumination, plus ray traced shadows and reflections first debuted on consoles
*fsr1, fsr3 and dlss3 support
*faster loading times
*enhanced support for higher resolutions, higher aspect ratios, and higher framerates
*enhanced audio with support for Dolby Atmos and improved fidelity of speech, cinematics, and music
*brand new vehicles on GTA:O (5 vehicles to be exact)
*wildlife fauna in GTA:O (just like in singleplayer)
*access to the GTA+ subscription
*brand new menus including an overhauled landing tab (the main menu) & a "Career Progress" tab for GTA:O
*4,000,000$ head-start and the option to select to become either an Executive, Gunrunner, Nightclub Owner, or Biker in the Career Builder. Basically you get the properties for free as a head-start including 4mil cash
*the anti-cheat is here to stay. while I'm strongly against it because on my mid-range rig it has ruined the game's performance and the cheaters clearly aren't gone, I suppose maybe they've made improvements to it
*new upgrades to already existing vehicles. this includes previously exclusive liveries and I believe the top speeds are much higher on the console versions. don't quote me on this though
*voice chat moderation

If you're worried that your rig does not meet the minimum requirements then you can simply continue enjoying the "Legacy" version of the game which is the game we've been playing for the past 10 years now

Regarding FiveM, they've stated that "support for FiveM will continue uninterrupted while we work to extend support for it on the upgraded version"

edit: Thank you for the awards kind strangers ❤️

Are there any additions or upgrades to the single-player mode?

well color me absolutely disinterested then

Exactly, just a way of trying to flog a dead horse even more, must rinse every last bit from the customer.

But this is them working on GTA6, they are building hype, marketing their IP and trying to keep people playing their products, this "Free" update is just a last ditch attempt to get more wallies back on the online variant and piddling away more money on their joke servers that a toddler could hack, the fact they make you download an anti-cheat is the biggest joke, hey download this intrusive software that does ABSOLUTELY nothing.

It looks like GTAonline will be around for a bit longer as they try to rinse every last penny they can.

No, dude. The OP decided to, for some nonsensical reason, completely omit the bulk of the enhancements. This new Enhanced Edition is also bringing full ray tracing support (ray traced reflections, shadows, global illumination, and ambient occlusion). It's also bringing DLSS 3 and FSR. It's also updating the TAA (anti aliasing), so that it doesn't look as blurry when using native TAA rather than DLSS.

As I said, the OP decided to NOT list the most interesting/enticing enhancements, for some strange reason.
ah, well that's something at least. thanks
If the Enhanced Online version of the game is anything like it is on consoles (where you risk go to a bad sport session for blowing up jets and other vehicles from players) I'll be staying away.
Voice chat moderation? Sounds awful.

Thank you for posting this.
But they didn't touch the Euphoria physics which is still watered down in comparison to ... even GTA IV or Max Payne 3 ...
